Rule 16
Functions, Duties and Powers of the Management Committee
: The functions, duties and powers of the Management Committee shall be as follows:
(a) Formulate the long-term policy and plan of the concerned child welfare home, child correctional home, orphanage or mental health center and send it to the Central Child Welfare Committee through the District Child Welfare Committee for approval.
(B) To approve the annual program and budget according to the approved policy and plan.
(c) To search for the necessary local resources for conducting the annual program and mobilize the resources obtained.
(d) To make appropriate arrangements regarding education, training and other facilities such as living, sleeping, eating, dressing etc. to be provided to children in child welfare homes, child correctional homes, orphanages and centers for mental retardation.
(e) To make arrangements to involve children in professional training or reading based on their interest or knowledge.
(f) Arranging other extra activities including sports, entertainment and cultural programs for the physical development of the child.
(G) To review and evaluate the work progress of child welfare home, child correctional home, orphanage or mental health center.
(h) To comply with the suggestions and instructions given by the Ministry, Central Child Welfare Committee, District Child Welfare Committee or Child Welfare Officer in relation to the operation of Child Welfare Home, Child Reform Home, Orphanage or Mental Health Center.
